Portfolio & Investment Management

Active, Research-Driven Portfolio Management

Newport Wealth Management provides discretionary portfolio management services — meaning we make day-to-day investment decisions on your behalf, based on your risk tolerance, time horizon, and any unique restrictions. Portfolios are built from individual stocks and ETFs, guided by rigorous bottom-up research, macroeconomic analysis, and an focus on risk management.

This is not cookie-cutter investing. Every portfolio is actively managed, continuously monitored, and adjusted as market conditions and your personal circumstances evolve. Your assets remain in your name at a third-party custodian at all times — giving you full transparency and control.

Our Approach

How We Manage Your Portfolio

We combine bottom-up security research with top-down macroeconomic analysis to build portfolios that are both thoughtfully constructed and actively managed. Risk management is not an afterthought — it is central to every decision we make.

Deep Security Research

Thorough, bottom-up research on individual stocks — analyzing fundamentals, building forecasts, valuations, and long-term prospects before any security enters a client portfolio. We do the work so you don't have to wonder what you own or why.

Macroeconomic Analysis

Top-down macroeconomic research informs overall asset allocation decisions — helping to position portfolios appropriately across market cycles, interest rate environments, and shifting economic conditions.

Risk Management Focus

Protecting what you've built is just as important as growing it. Risk management is central to everything — from portfolio construction and position sizing to ongoing monitoring and continual adjustment as markets and conditions evolve.

Portfolio Models

A Portfolio for Different Risk Profiles

We manage several distinct portfolio models, each designed for a different risk tolerance and investment objective. All models are actively managed and broadly diversified across domestic and international markets. Models can be additionally customized based on any client-imposed restrictions or preferences.
